Product Information

2008 Mercury Milan FloorLiner

In the quest for the most advanced concept in floor protection, the talented designers and engineers at WeatherTech have worked tirelessly to develop the most advanced floor protection available today!

The WeatherTech FloorLiner accurately and completely lines the interior carpet giving "absolute interior protection"!  The WeatherTech FloorLiner lines the interior carpet up the front, back and even up the sides of the 2008 Mercury Milan’s footwell.  Digital laser measurements of interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit!

A patented High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material allows for a rigid core for strength while offering surface friction to the carpet, as well as tactile feel to the surface! Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir with further channeling to help minimize fluid movement while driving!  Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.  No muss-no fuss!

WeatherTech, where Technology and All Weather Protection meet!

Rear FloorLiner

   Over The Hump!

The rear FloorLiner incorporates many of the same design features as the front FloorLiner and (where offered) is manufactured from a proprietary custom blended TPO (thermopolyolefin) that is not only wear resistant, but also remains flexible under extreme temperatures. The Rear FloorLiner is either one piece or two piece depending on the vehicle application.

Helps Protect Resale Value

Our FloorLiners help protect resale value too!  Simply put, the cost of owning a vehicle is the difference between what you pay for it and what you sell it for.  There are many factors that influence resale value; miles, exterior condition, maintenance history and of course interior condition. The FloorLiner is proudly designed, engineered and manufactured with American made tooling in the USA.

The FloorLiner is designed for vehicles with factory carpet installed when manufactured.  They will not fit vehicles with vinyl floors unless otherwise specified.  Please take your old floor mats out before installing your new WeatherTech FloorLiner.

Please note that the on-screen color representations are not necessarily precise representations of actual product colors due to variance in monitor calibrations.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Lifetime Limited Warranty

WeatherTech Direct, LLC warrants that our products will be free from any defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser and only for the original vehicle they were installed in. That does not mean that a product that simply and naturally wears out from normal use is a candidate for a warranty replacement or a refund. Like tires, brake pads or the shoes on your feet, everything wears out and when it does, that does not mean you did not receive good value for your money.

We are reasonable people and we believe in true customer satisfaction. We will work with you for a fair resolution to any issue you may have. Fair is defined as being fair to both you the customer and to WeatherTech. We do not charge extra for our products to our vast majority of customers so we can accommodate ridiculous warranty claims by the few. Our decision is final and will consist of either replacement of your product at no charge or charge you a prorated amount for a replacement, meaning we may extend a discount to you to purchase an exact replacement. Our goal is to keep our customers happy for a lifetime and always reach a fair resolution to any issue. Proof of purchase is required.

Exclusions to this warranty include wear due to severe abrasive conditions, chemical contamination, such as spilled gasoline, bleach, vehicle accidents, misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, incorrect use, etc.

Testimonials

Name: Anonymous
Vehicle: 2008 Mercury Milan
We bought the floor linners for our mercury milan, what a great idea. they keep the salt and slush out of the carpet. wish I would have known about them for my other cars. One suggestion is where the hook is on the floor to hold the mat on the driverside should not have a hole in it. Some salt gets on the carpet from your shoes. Thank you for a great product we are a lifetime customer.

Vehicle: 2006 Mercury Milan
Shortly after we bought our nearly new Mercury Milan in 2006, I thought that I would go all out and buy some fancy-schmancy floor liners from an online retailer. For the more-than-$100 dollar price tag, I figured that I would never need to buy another set of floor mats so it would be worth the price. And hey, they even said "Milan" on them...neat-o!! Well, suffice it to say, less than a year after purchasing the "super dooper" floor mats, they began to split along the grooves, channeling dirt and water not only away from your feet, but right down into the carpet! Not exactly what I would expect from high end floor mats. I decided to do a little research to find new mats. I had seen WeatherTech in Car and Driver magazines for years and decided to look into it. I found what my suspicions had confirmed: they are reputed to make an excellent product and moreover it looked and sounded like just what I needed. I went online and ordered up a full set. I was a little nervous as I awaited their arrival...was this going to be another flop? When they showed up on my doorstep I could not wait to put them in the car and, pulling them out of box I could tell this was no ordinary floor mat. Installation was easy and the fit was perfect! They have performed beautifully ever since, and nearly every person that gets in the car comments on how nice they are. I'm looking forward to having a clean dry interior during this upcoming Utah winter. While I know that it may be hard for some to fork over $100+ for floor mats, its well worth it as long as you do it right the FIRST time by going straight to WeatherTech, rather than going with some "imposter" OEM or not!!! Thanks MacNeil, I look forward to buying future products for all of my vehicles.

FAQ

Do I have to trim my FloorLiners?
Some vehicles have options (i.e. speakers and subwoofers) that may interfere with the design of the product. In these instances, we incorporate trim lines to accommodate those options affected.
How should I clean my FloorLiners?
Our specially formulated TechCare Cleaner and Protector Kit is designed specifically for this task. However, mild detergent, warm water, and a soft-bristle brush will also help clean the FloorLiner or All-Weather Floor mats. Do not clean with harsh chemicals or apply silicone-based cleaners (such as Armor All).
What does “1st Row” mean?
"1st Row" means the first, or front row of seating, driver and passenger side. Your set will include both pieces, unless it is a single-piece design.
What does “2nd Row” mean?
"2nd Row" refers to the row of seats immediately behind the first or front row of seating. Your set will include pieces for both driver’s side and passenger side 2nd row seating, unless it is a single-piece design.
What does “3rd Row” mean?
"3rd Row" refers to the row of seats immediately behind the second row of seating. Your set will include pieces for both driver’s side and passenger side 3rd row seating, unless it is a single piece design.
Can I put the FloorLiners on top of or under my factory mats?
No. The removal of the factory mats is IMPERATIVE for proper installation. Failure to remove factory mats will result in an improper fit, which will likely create interference with vehicle controls, resulting in an unsafe condition for operating the vehicle.
Why aren’t all rear FloorLiners one piece?
We strive to offer the most protection possible for the vehicle footwell. Some designs allow for a one-piece, over-the-hump liner, and others present limitations that require a two-piece design. The fitment notes and images on our website generally show whether the part is a one-piece or two individual pieces.
Is the material odorless?
Yes, it is odorless, non-toxic, contains no latex, cadmium, lead or any harmful PVC’s.
Does this product contain Latex?
No. All Floor Mats and Household Mats are made from our advanced Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE), which is virtually odorless, contains no harmful PVCs, cadmium, or lead and is 100% recyclable!
Why isn’t the color the same as it appears online, or in the ad?
On-screen or ad color representations may appear slightly different as a result of studio lighting, variance in monitor calibrations, or magazine print quality.
Why don’t you make FloorLiners for all vehicles?
The FloorLiner was first developed in 2005, and our efforts have been dedicated to developing applications for popular models from 2005 to current. If you do not see an application for your vehicle, please visit our New Product Updates (http://www.weathertech.com/service/product-updates/) form and WeatherTech will let you know when new products are available for your vehicle.
How do I remove the FloorLiners from my car?
Some vehicles utilize posts, snaps, hooks-and-loops, as well as other retention devices that require a 90-degree twist to remove-and-install. Please refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for the proper instructions on the use of your particular vehicle’s floor mat retention system. Once identified, refer to the instructions supplied with your FloorLiners or mats.
Can I purchase only the driver’s side?
No. The FloorLiners are only sold in pairs or complete sets.
Why doesn’t the FloorLiner cover the door sill on my vehicle?
Our Floorliners are manufactured to fit flush or cover the door sill when the vehicle’s sill is level with the floor. If the vehicle is designed with a well-shaped floor space, the FloorLiner will rise up to and along the door sill, but not cover it completely.
What’s the difference between the FloorLiners and All-Weather Floor Mats?
The FloorLiners are a three-dimensional tray-type floor covering with standing walls that go up the front, back, and side of the vehicle floor. The All-Weather Floor Mats are a traditional two-dimensional flexible rubber-type mat that drapes the floor area to follow contours. The FloorLiners are made out of a harder, more rigid material, and the All-Weather Mats are made out of a softer, more flexible material. Both will protect the carpet and contain spills, however the FloorLiners cover more surface area.
Why is my driver’s side dead pedal/ footrest only partially covered?
We strive to offer as much protection to the vehicle floor as possible. There are inherent limitations in the manufacturing process that may limit the height of some walls on a specific application.
BMW: How do I remove my hook-and-loop (Velcro) retention system and replace it with your hooks?
BMW uses a hook-and-loop system for retaining their carpet mat. It is typically mounted to a socket in the floor by a 90-degree twist. Rotate counter-clockwise and lift to remove. To reinstall, rotate retention system clockwise with a downward push. When replacing the original system, please retain the devices with your original carpet floor mats. Again – always refer to the vehicle owner’s manual and your WeatherTech instructions for questions - or refer to our website.
The WeatherTech logo gel label detached from my product. Can I get replacements?
Yes! If for some reason the gel label(s) become detached, please notify our customer service team and we will ship out replacement labels at no charge to you.
My floor is flat; why does it say “over the hump”?
"Over the hump" in this case simply means the FloorLiner fits as one-piece door-to-door.
If there are designated trim lines, does that void my warranty if I use them?
It does not, some product variations require customers to trim their FloorLiners for the best possible fit.
Are WeatherTech FloorLiners stain-resistant?
Yes! FloorLiners will resist staining, however routine maintenance is recommended to prolong the life and integrity of the product. We recommend using the TechCare FloorLiner and FloorMat Cleaner/Protector Kit to maximize the longevity of your FloorLiner.
Will FloorLiners fit handicap-accessible vehicles?
Due to the high level of modification found in these vehicles we can make no guarantees of the fitment of our parts in handicap-accessible vehicles.
What does the quantity (QTY) selector change?
The Quantity selector on the website does not determine the number of individual products to purchase, but rather the number of total product sets you will receive upon purchase. To change your selected product set, simply select one of the images under the "Select Your Set" heading in Step 1. This will allow you to purchase a full or partial set depending on your selection.
