I recently bought this product and installed it by myself on my 2018 Dodge Ram. The ONLY piece of advice I have is that you have one person hold your hood so you do not have to get on a ladder to install it.

I purchased the Weathertech bug deflector because it mounted without drilling and required no double-sided tape to install. The fit is perfect, the installation was simple. The diamond-pearl color is a $1000 option so I had to protect the hood! I also purchased the Tech-shade sunshade for the windshield. It was a perfect fit and construction is heavy-duty. Overall very happy. It fit my 2015 Kia Soul + well. Note that it does cover the KIA logo on the hood. My only complaint was that the tape on one side was a little crooked and not even. It still went on well and I hope it helps protect my car. It comes with 4 small clear rubber "feet" that you are supposed to apply to the hood of your car. I did not and instead installed them on the back of the deflector itself. I wanted as little installed on my car as possible. I can't see the difference as to install them on the back of the deflector or the car itself. Overall I am happy and would buy again. No drilling required! Yeah! I got this along with the Weathertech carmats, cargo liner, and bump step. I am happy with the products. I do recommend the investment.

I bought my Rav4 in September and for Christmas all I wanted was goodies to protect it. I got the bug/stone deflector and the side window deflectors. I love them. Struggled a bit with installation. My truck is brand new and I didn't want to mar the finish with the included clips but the rubber bumbers work well and with a little patience, I managed to get this securely attached. Very nice. Fits snug. Looks sharp. Does the job!

On October 10, 2007 my 03 Honda CR-V was struck by another vehicle running a very red light.Though the front of my suv was destroyed and my hood badly bent, your stone & bug deflector showed no sign of damage. Fits Better Than Original

I just installed my new bug guard yesterday. The factory guard became brittle after nearly 10 years of service and broke off in the car wash. The Weather Tech guard was very easy to install, fit the hood tightly and covered more area than the Toyota bug guard. I live in the country and have to deal with tons of bugs during the Spring and Summer, so I am looking forward to seeing how well this guard deflects them, and how much cleaner my windshield stays. I am very impressed with the quality of Weather Tech's product. If this guard lasts well, I will be buying Weather Tech floor mats for my next vehicle.

Easy install ...with proper fastners

Purchased several Weathertech products for my New F150. Mats, Window Trim, Mud Guards, etc. The Stone and Bug Protector fit as advertised, impressive actually. HOWEVER, when it can to installing the supplied pins I was very disappointed. The weren't near long enough for the job. After several try's I said the heck with it! I headed to Lowes and found some suitable length push on pins (aka Christmas Tree pins). Back home, lined them up, tapped them in in 2 minutes, DONE! Such an easy fix for an otherwise well engineered product.

I bought the weathertech stone and bug deflector for my new truck. The installation was easy but when you remove the weather striping to install the deflector the inserts that you push into the hood to tighten down the deflector should be a little bigger so there is a tighter fit.

Ordered this item not knowing what it was going to look like or how difficult it was going to be to install. WeatherTech did not have one available with double sided tape. Installation was easy. 4 screws into existing hood holes, 5 minutes and done. And the shield looks great on my truck. Great product.

Fasteners are too small

The bug deflector looks great and is well built. The fasteners for my vehicle, however, are far too small and don't fit. save yourself the headache and pick up some #14 x 3/4 inch sheet metal screws; they work perfectly.

Dear Sir: Just a note to express my satisfaction with your products that I just received. I ordered and received front floor mats and the hood bug shield. I kind of had doubts about the floor fitting as snug as you state in your brochure but to my amazement they fit perfectly and especially around the lower console near the floor. Plus the fact, they interlock together making a firm fit in front area. Secondly, the bug shield was installed without any problem and from all indications it should remain sticking to the hood in the future. I used my other mats from the front to install in the rear areas. I had purchased long carpeted mats which I had in my Town & Country Van. They fit fine in the Olds Van - so I now have sufficient coverage throughout the Van.
