The Evolution of Our Automotive Floor Liners
In 1989, WeatherTech Founder & CEO, David MacNeil, set out to reinvent the world of automotive floor protection with an entirely American-manufactured floor mat. With this dedication to American-made craftsmanship, and the introduction of our All-Weather Mats, he paved the road for the genesis of the WeatherTech brand. Eighteen years later, MacNeil once again embarked on a project to make an already incredible product even better with the introduction of the legendary, laser-measured FloorLiner that we all know today. After worldwide success and embrace of the FloorLiner product, WeatherTech launched the next generation in interior vehicle protection: FloorLiner HP.
What Makes These Liners Stand Out?
Each FloorLiner and FloorLiner HP is thoughtfully designed for a perfect fit. They’re laser measured specifically for your vehicle’s make, model and year — so you’re guaranteed full coverage and don’t have to deal with the hassle of a one-size-fits-all solution. They even utilize the factory retention systems already in your vehicle to stay securely in place. To contain dirt and everyday mishaps, both liners have raised edges and surface channels to direct these messes away from your feet. Lastly, they’re both entirely designed, engineered and manufactured right here in America using high-end materials for top-notch craftsmanship.
How Are They Different From Each Other?

FloorLiner
The original FloorLiner has been a flagship product for decades, offering years of protection and helping to preserve the value of your vehicle. It features rigid, high walls to keep messes contained, and a uniquely textured surface. It’s made of a thick material that offers sturdy defense. Its appealing gel label has become an iconic staple that so many of you love.

FloorLiner HP
The high-performance FloorLiner HP is constructed from an advanced, rubber-like material that’s strong, yet flexible. It won’t crack, curl or break down, even in extreme temperatures. Anti-skid nibs were added to the bottom of every HP liner for stability, and updated retention devices provide waterproof protection. Lastly, a matte finish gives a sleek, upscale look to further upgrade your vehicle’s interior.
