Kicking Up Snow and Taking Names with Nick Goepper

Winding through the narrow streets of Bad Gastein, Austria, Nick Goepper had something to prove last week. During the 2019 Red Bull Playstreets event, he was in search of redemption. For the event, the city streets of Bad Gastein were transformed into a challenging slopestyle course. This course tripped Goepper up in years past. But not this year. He took the top spot on the podium last week after an impressive run through the twists, turns, jumps and rails of the street course.

"It had to be one of the most fun events I have done in a while. Not often do you get to do an event in the middle of the city streets with close to 15,000 people watching," Goepper said.

This is just another strong performance Goepper has added to his 2019 season. Just a week ago, he brought home 3rd place at the 2019 FIS World Championships in Utah for Men’s Freeski Slopestyle.

"I’m feeling more confident now with my recent 3rd place at World Championships and my win at Red Bull Playstreets. The beginning of the year started a little slow but I feel like I am gaining momentum now!" Goepper stated.
