What is your Company's Shipping & Handling Policy?

When shipping within the 48 contiguous states, normal ground service will be used.

Please note that our company cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Once you have chosen the products you wish to purchase and have entered our shopping cart, the shopping cart technology will detect the products in your cart and offer you additional shipping options and exact shipping and handling prices for your convenience. These shipping options may include:

- USPS Parcel Post
- Ground service
- 3 day service
- 2 day air
- Overnight

Shipping Restrictions:
Depending on where you live, you might not be offered all shipping options. In some cases we are not able to deliver certain products to your location. We are unable to ship Side Window Deflectors, Sun Roof Deflectors and Stone and Bug Deflectors to AK, HI, Puerto Rico, USVI, Guam, or APO/FPO addresses via the US Postal Service. Shipments of Side Window Deflectors, Sun Roof Deflectors and Stone and Bug Deflectors may be sent to AK, HI, and Puerto Rico via air service.

NOTE: We cannot ship any product via air service to APO/FPO addresses.

Packages are shipped Monday through Friday.  

FloorLiner and Cargo Liner orders -
Please allow 3 to 7 business days for manufacturing and up to 5 business days for FedEx ground shipping, when ground service is selected.

All-Weather Floor Mats, Side Window Deflectors, MudFlaps, License Plate Frames, etc.
These products ship out of our Illinois facility and these items typically ship within 72 business day hours of receiving your order and again, please allow up to 5 business days for FedEx ground shipping to deliver to your door, unless express shipping was selected.

FedEx Ground packages are delivered Tuesday through Saturday. Air deliveries will be between Monday through Friday, holidays or any day that FedEx or the USPS is closed. Weather conditions, world, national, or local events may cause unexpected changes to delivery schedules without notice.

Express shipping service is available. Express shipping orders submitted before 12:00pm CDT will ship the same day. Express shipping orders placed after 12:00pm CDT will ship the following business day.

Express shipping examples:

Next Day and 2 Day Air within the contiguous 48 is guaranteed delivery (business days only – does not include Saturday or Sunday) with the exception of weather delays or world, national, or local events affecting the delivery area. Next Day or 2 Day Air to AK, HI, or Puerto Rico is not guaranteed.

3 Day service is delivered Monday through Friday.

Two weeks prior to Christmas, no delivery times are guaranteed. This includes Next Day, 2 Day, and 3 Day services.

Shipping & Handling Charge Explanation

We ship 99% of our ground delivery orders via FedEx Ground to ensure timely, damage-free delivery. Many of our products including most FloorLiners ship in boxes that are subject to an "oversize" package surcharge. Our Heavy Duty All-Weather Floor Mats for example can weigh as much as 17lbs for a set of four. Our Cargo/trunk liner packages are most often "oversize". Our robust packaging has been designed to protect your purchase from our factory to your door so that it arrives damage free. We have standardized our shipping and handling charges by taking our average cost for safely shipping a package an average distance in America, carefully packed by our expert staff, and that's what you pay. I live outside the contiguous 48 states. What about shipping and handling there? And how much?

If you live in AK, HI, Puerto Rico, Guam, the USVI or have an APO/FPO box, our shopping cart technology will give you an exact dollar amount quote for the indicated products you wish to purchase. Please note, shipping times to these locations may be extended.

If you are outside the 48 contiguous states, and the places mentioned above, we encourage you to visit our WeatherTech® International Distributors page. Here, we might be able to help connect you with one of our distributors in your country. By purchasing from these individuals, you will save yourself substantial International shipping and handling charges.

Fast Shipping?!? Just how fast is fast?

Fast Shipping Information:

We ship from two different warehouses. One in Bolingbrook, Illinois, the other is in Neodesha, Kansas.

92% of our orders ship within 3 business days, 5% ship within 7 business days and the remaining 3% ship within 10 business days. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday 8am-5pm CST.

When you get a tracking number, that doesn't mean we have shipped your package that day. It means that your package is one step closer to being shipped and will probably ship within 1 day.

If you NEED your package next day, in two days or in three days please select an upgraded shipping method when placing your order. Your order will be expedited through our warehouse to ship right away. (Express orders placed after Noon Central Time will ship on the next business day.) Otherwise your package may take as long as 10 days to ship.  For guaranteed shipping examples, please see express shipping examples from previous FAQ.

Ground shipping examples:
If you live in California and the transit time is 4 business days you should receive your package in 8 business days.
If you live in Florida and the transit time is 3 business days you should receive your package in 7 business days.
If you live in New York and the transit time is 2 business days you should receive your package in 6 business days.
If you live in Iowa and the transit time is 1 business day you should receive your package in 5 business days.

Very often packages arrive quicker, but there are always a few that take a few days longer.

Shipping and Damage Insurance

If your package is lost, stolen or damaged, by selecting insurance, we will prioritize your order to the front of the line and immediately ship your replacement via 3 day FedEx at no charge.

WeatherTech FloorLiners and Cargo Liners are custom manufactured and build time is not included in the 3 day shipping time.  Backordered items will ship when in stock.  Shipping and Damage Insurance charge is non-refundable.  Please contact us with any questions.

Ordering Online/Security

I'm concerned about giving you my credit card. Can I trust your site to be secure?

You can be fully assured that our website is a secure website. Your personal information including credit card number, is transmitted over the Internet via an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypted session. This method allows only the person who you choose to send information to, the only person that sees it.

We have chosen VeriSign to be the verifying authority as to the level of security our website maintains. They have issued our company a certificate stating that: This site has a VeriSign Secure Server ID.
1. VeriSign has verified the organizational name and that WeatherTech® has the proof of right to use it.
2. This site legitimately runs under the auspices of WeatherTech®.
3. All information sent to this site, if in an SSL session, is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties.

Included in the certificate are the effective dates of our secure site certificate.

I just ordered online, but I am unsure my order went through. How can I be sure?

First, please check your email account. An order confirmation email will be sent within minutes of placing your order. If you do not receive an email, please call customer service at (800) 441-6287 and a representative will be happy to assist.

If you know the Make, Year and Model of the vehicle you're shopping for, proceed to Shop by Vehicle. Here, you can see every product we offer for your specific vehicle. We even show you pictures of our items on your specific vehicle so you can see how they look before they are installed! Once there, we might need to ask you one or two more questions to narrow down the exact part number for your vehicle, but don't worry...the questions are fun and easy!

Can I make a purchase with a Prepaid Gift Card?

Unfortunately Prepaid Gift Cards of any kind are not accepted as a payment option on However, if you have an official WeatherTech® Gift Card, it will be accepted as a payment option.


What is the warranty on WeatherTech® Products?

Warranty Policy

WeatherTech Direct, LLC warrants that our products, when delivered to you in new condition, in original packaging, will be free from any defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship. Most products come backed with a standard factory warranty.

Exclusions to this warranty include wear due to severe abrasive conditions, chemical contamination, such as spilled gasoline, bleach, etc. We are reasonable people and we believe in customer satisfaction. Depending on the situation, we will either replace your product at no charge or charge you a prorated amount for a replacement.

Please note, if you purchased a WeatherTech Direct, LLC product(s) from an unauthorized dealer, your warranty will not be honored and we cannot offer you the assurances of quality and satisfaction afforded by purchases made through us directly or through authorized resellers. How are the rear All-Weather Mats designed?

We offer many different sizes of rear All-Weather Floor Mats to accommodate most floor plans.  The outer portion of certain mat sets are designed to be trimmed to fit your vehicle, if necessary along the outer score lines.  Some two piece mats connect to form the appearance of a one piece mat.  Please refrain from cutting any center tabs on mats which connects the two sides.  Mats can be modified using a pair of household scissors or utility knife.  Some mats do not have trim accommodations.

It is desirable to have the mat follow the contour of the rear footwell, lending protection to the sides as well.  Please check the sizing prior to trimming as the mats cannot be returned once they have been trimmed.

I'm having trouble installing or using my WeatherTech® Products. How do I get more information?

We have many options to help you with the installation or usage of any of our WeatherTech® Products. Your best option is our Installation Instructions page. Pictorial installation guides, and in some cases videos, are available.

Another resource is to call us at (800) 441-6287 and speak with one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives. They can guide you through any problems or issues that might turn up.

How do the MudFlaps stay on the vehicle without drilling?

They utilize our QuickTurn™ hardened stainless steel fastening system (when applicable) that literally clamps down on the fender. Some applications use pre-existing factory screws and holes.

How many of your products are Made in the USA?

More than 95% of the products we currently sell are manufactured in the United States of America and we promise to improve this every year.


What is your return policy?

Please call Customer Service Department at (800) 441-6287 to obtain a return authorization number.  Your return authorization number is valid for a period of 30 days from the date you received your order. Any returns without a valid return authorization number will be refused. Please write the return authorization number below our return address on the outside of the box. Of course, all products must be returned in new, unused condition in their original box. Shipping and handling must be prepaid by the customer on all returns. Refund will be given on merchandise returned, less shipping, handling & packaging. We do not accept C.O.D. returns.

Each Car Cover is custom cut and sewn to your vehicles make, model and year, therefore we cannot accept returns for Car Covers once an order has been placed.
