As a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Sabres hockey team I decided to purchase a set of custom license plates honoring the team. The Sabres were established in 1970, so my plate spells out SABRES70. After I purchased the license plates I searched the internet for a plate holder that would protect the plates. Since I live in Buffalo NY (everyone knows what our winters are like) I was looking for a holder/protector that would protect the plates in our wild weather but allow the plates to be clearly visible . I came upon the WeatherTech ClearCover. This turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. It keeps the plate nice and tight so, no more rattling, and it protects the plate from all of the unwanted elements. The product works just as advertised. After two snow storms and a mixture of salt, snow and ice the plates still look great. Well worth the price.

This cover is great! Its the second I have puchased and will deffenately not be the last. My first one lasted me 8 years. I have never had any cover that lasted even close to that. Protects your plate and keeps it in great shape. Am gonna pic me up some floor liners and door visors next. Great products form a great company.

I love these License Plate covers! They keep the Plate clean and new looking. When I got Vanity Plates for my 05 Magnum I got these covers, 3 years later they still look like new. So when I Vanity Plates for my new 08 Miata, getting these covers was a no brainer. I even got an extra set to put on my 99 Durango.

Owned the clearcover since 2000. Unit has made cleaning bugs & road grit off the lic. plates easier. Also, since it's acrylic, I've got some polishing cream that'll clear up any scratches that comes up

I guess I have to take exception to comments posted complaining that the Weather Tech "Clear-Cover" isn't virtually indestructible... . Here's one that recently went through the following: 80mph (estimated) unintentional exit off I-75, plowed through drainage ditch, became airborne, according to accident report, demolished metal road sign, broke through at least (1) 4”X4” wooden post (another sign), ran through a metal retaining fence, careened 7-800ft. off road, through heavily wooded area, finally being stopped by a tree Car = totalled Towing Bill = $1600 Scratched, but reusable Clear Cover = priceless Yes, I'll probably breakdown and buy a new Clear Cover, since it will be going on my new replacement vehicle. But I was impressed that it remained intact, protected my (custom) plate and basically outlived the rest of the car. I would call that "virtually indestructible" in real-world conditions. Keep up the great products! P.S. - Forgot to mention I also had your "Lamp Guards" installed. Both front headlights were intact after the crash and appear to be fully useable. My guess is if you took the Lamp Guards off, the lenses would look brand new.
